| | Strobist recently blogged about a stock photographer named Yuri Arcurs. Now I dont usaully like to blog about other peoples blogs but after watching a few of his youtube vids I found him pretty interesting, apparently this guy sells 2000 images a day! One of his youtube vids (see here) talks about how he achieves sharp images, he uses a monopod on a custom bracket that swivels easily from landscape to portrait modes. I had both of these tools just lying around... damn why didnt I think of this before? Anyway I put the pieces together and found that in the studio this would be a tremendous help...even when you are syncing at 1/250 more stabilzation is always good. On top of that your arm wont feel like falling off after lifting a heavy dslr and lens repeatedly. hmm now I wonder how practical this would be to take into field and shoot events with it...
