Camera Body - Canon 5D MKII
Lens - Canon 85mm f/1.2L
3 Pocket Wizard IIs
Tripod / ballhead
Canon 580EXII
Quantum T5DR with Turbo battery pack
CTO gels
Shoot thru umbrella
2 light stands
model (not pictured)
incredibly slow MUA 3 hours of make up (not pictured)
DIRECTIONS -
Precharge batteries for camera and flashes. Instruct make up artist on desired look. Ready model and arrive location. Set 580EXII with CTO gel on light stand, attach shoot thru umbrella aim 45 degrees to model. Set Quantum T5DR flash unit with CTO gel on light stand behind model for backlight. Place 5DMKII on tripod with 85mm 1.2 attached, manual setting. Remember aperture controls flash power, and shutter speed controls ambient light. Chimp using histogram for correct exposure. Final settings - 1/2sec, f/2.8, ISO 100.
